For generations, club Amnesia was a traditional Spanish house (finca), where a family lived. When this family sold the house to a widow with an aristocratic background in the 70s, the destination of the finca changed. It was the philosopher Antonio Escohotado who transformed the hippie heaven into a discotheque in 1976. Not just a place, but a place to escape from everyday life.
